I was watching a documentary about Hunter S. Thompson over the weekend, so I tried to draw Spider-Man in a manor influenced by Ralph Steadman.
I totally got that, especially from the type. If you watch the fear and loathing criterion collection dvd, the menu is steadman's hand drawing the logo. AMAZING!!!
watching the fear and loathing flick is like a ghost raping my childhood. That's 2.5 hours I'll never get back!
I actually have seen that DVD menu you are referring to. He does a similar thing in the Gonzo documentary I watched over the weekend. Chris, you should create a blog where you illustrate all of the things in your life that are like a ghost raping your childhood.
